The first Pedro's Pizza store opened in 1971 in the Adelaide suburb of Daw Park and was bought by the current owner in 1990 after he worked there for a couple of years. Pedro's Pizza had gained a reputation for having the freshest ingredients and delicious pizzas and this opened up the opportunity to create a Pedro's brand. A second Pedro’s store was opened 3 years later and by 2003, the Pedro’s Pizza brand had 6 stores operating in Adelaide. 

It was only a matter of time before the name ‘Pedro’s Pizza’ was seen in other states as well. The brand quickly expanded across Sydney with 5 stores opening within a couple of years.
